Nolen's Devroll
Hello and welcome to Nolen Truett's Devroll. This consists of many things I have worked on, or am working on at the moment.
Before I start my list of things, I'll go ahead and go over who I am and what I do.
I'm Nolen Truett, I'm a musician, artist, and designer. I am currently taking classes for Drafting and Designing, hoping to mainly do drawings for mechanical parts.
In the recent few years, I have wanted to do video game level design as a creative profession. It started with me doing mods in the Source Engine, which has lead to learning to model in Blender, and doing much better texturing and artwork than I have earlier in my life.
I'll start with my newer stuff, and as the list goes down, the older it'll get.

Late Postage OST

Coming soon, hopefully July 1st, will be another digital release album by me. The soundtrack to my game Late Postage, with a couple extra tracks I've written recently. Also planning on putting this and Encore on Bandcamp with physical versions!
Postal: Red Letter Day

- In this project, I act as a level designer, and I do my own texture/model work.
The pictures featured here are of the first map I did for the project, Blickster, which is a neighborhood compound for some early villians in the game.
It shows up as level 7 in the story.

- This map here is the Train Station map, which is the 12th level of the story. The game, being based in Arizona, takes from a famous location there.
That location being the Kingman Station, in Kingman, AZ. There is also an insurance building I made next door to it which is based on the design used for Kramer's Air Conditioning LLC..
Nearly every texture in this map was made by me, with the exception of the ground textures, which I had done some edits on for my map, and to assist the other map devs with some detailing.

- Along with all the level design, I also did a few car models to add some more variety, as opposed to only having a single vehicle in the project.
Some people out there may be able to pick up on these car designs pretty quick, but clarifying overall, my stuff includes the famous Humvee, an 80s era Monte Carlo SS, an 80s era F-150, and the ugliest car in the world...
- The Toyota Previa...
- So far, that's all the stuff I feel like posting of it. The game is still currently under production by the team,
Brain Dead Arts.
- A demo should be available soon of the first 8 levels of the game if you ever feel like checking it out!

Late Postage
- Another Postal project... I know, it's what you're probably saying, but that frachise has given me many opportunities to meet many other devs, so I don't think it's too bad.
This project was one done by me for an itch.io jam, specifically the Postal Jam 2, which happened during the Summer of 2024.

- Given the two month period allowed to make this, I think it's by far my best game done on RPG Maker. I've had this engine for years now, but only did small little things with it since I didn't understand the engine too well, but this game, I believe I outdid myself and gained a good bit of knowledge on functions and stuff within it. It's given me the ability to try and make another standalone game on the engine, and I hope to possibly release it on Steam, but that's another story... You can try out Late Postage now on Itch's website here.

Encore

- This is the first album I released digitally, being one that I composed sometime in 2021 that I then went back and mixed in 2023. It is an instrumental album, bringing a mix of jazz and some hiphop influence. I had been experimenting with making beats at the time, and it kind of culminated together in some tracks I did.
Soramo

This one is a single, which I plan on making into a full album. It was made based on a song I made that was arranged entirely with samples, I decided to completely remake/extend it with my own originality to it and release it.
